I'm rising from the dead. That's right. I'm back in participating on DA. Maybe even posting stuff!
I'm planning on joining the group

because as nerdy/lame/childish the group may seem to others, I THINK IT'S AWESOME and a good way to improve my art skills. I mean, why not? I figure some of my favorite artists on DA started out with fancomics or art.
I might also post some of my stuff from my Creative Writing class THAT I TAKE FOR TWO HOURS A DAY HOT DAMN. I've actually learned how to write this year. As in, come up with a decent story and execute it well enough that it entertains people. At least, high school people. If you consider them people.
My work is amateur and so am I, because I'm 16 and I am sure to look back on this age four years from now and think OH GOD MY ART WAS HORRIBLE MY WRITING WAS HORRIBLE MY WORK ETHIC WAS HORRIBLE FjkJfd;jkjfd;asfj111
Looking forward to the next season of my wonderfully awesome job as a Squire for a Knight. Basically what my job entails is acting the part of a Squire and answering questions about the history of Knights while taking care of the Knight's horse. The Knight performs with his horse at the end of the show by mounting in full armor and sticking a lance through a foam mannequin and then cutting off it's head. Awesome, right? Yeah, I know, pics or it didn't happen. Here's his website:
[link]Uh, current college plan is to go to Sheridan College Institute of Technology in Ontario, first for two years for the Visual Arts program and then for the four year degree in Animation. Overall, a pretty impressive and affordable school! Housing won't be affordable, but meh, I'll manage.
Somehow. I figure the visual arts certificate program is kind of essential if I want to seriously go into the field of animation, because so far I haven't had any real art classes that have taught me the fundamentals I need and worked me hard on life drawing. I used the money from my job to pay for a basic drawing class and then a figure drawing class outside of school to try and get some basics down, and MAN, those worked me hard. It just shows how much I've got to learn.
As much as what I am unable to do and do not know yet depresses me, the prospects of learning them are rather exciting.
Now then. Assuming people are actually reading this, I hope you are TOTALLY LOOKING FORWARD TO FUTURE JOURNAL POSTS! Perhaps I'll update you guys to my progress with interesting stories I'm doing at school, or anything I'm doing for Pokedemic.
Back to homework. See ya.
